Theme: Strengthening School–Parent Partnership

BLM Academy was delighted to host the Class VI Parent Connect Programme on 11 August 2026

The event began with a warm welcome, followed by a beautiful Lamp Lighting Ceremony and a Welcome Song by our Class VI students.

Dr. Gayatri Kanwar, Principal addressed the gathering on the theme “Strengthening School–Parent Partnership.”

She spoke about how strong collaboration between home and school creates a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn. She emphasized the role of parents in building good study habits, emotional resilience, and values. Dr. Kanwar also encouraged open communication and regular feedback so that together we can support each child’s academic progress, wellbeing, and confidence.

Mrs. Poonam Kwatara, Vice Principal, along with Ms. Harshita Pathak, led an Interactive Counselling Session.

Mrs. Kwatara spoke on “Understanding the Transition: Supporting Growth and Parents as Partners” — guiding parents on the changes students face in Class VI and how consistent support from both school and home helps them grow with confidence.

Mrs. Deepa Bhatt shared an inspiring talk on “Beyond the Classroom: My Child Beyond Marks” — reminding us to celebrate our children’s talents, creativity, values and skills beyond report cards.

We also had an Open Forum where parents shared queries, suggestions and feedback, making the conversation truly meaningful.

The programme was a beautiful reminder that when school and parents come together, children thrive. Thank you to all the parents for your active participation and for making this event so engaging and purposeful.
