BLM Academy, celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti with great reverence and patriotic fervour on 2nd October 2026.

The programme commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by Principal Dr. Gayatri Kanwar, followed by Sarva Dharma Prarthana and soulful rendition of Ramdhun - Vaishnava Jana To and Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram.

A beautiful poem presented by Pahal Bisht of Grade III highlighted the ideals and contributions of both great leaders.

In her address, Principal Dr. Gayatri Kanwar inspired students to follow the path of truth, non-violence, simplicity and selfless service. She quoted Mahatma Gandhi, Be the change that you wish to see in the world” and Lal Bahadur Shastri's iconic slogan “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan”, emphasizing that the true tribute to these great souls lies in living their values in daily life.
